    i am trying to connect arduino uno +esp8266 modul (picture) to this gui app but it doesnt connect. it says that has downloaded but it doesnt connect. I am not sure if its good to have it on wemos d1 r1 but i dont know what or do i need it to change to something else.
    need some help cus i need to have it for my final product at school.

      Hi!

      Try checking:

      1. Do you have the correct drivers installed (check under Device Manager)?
      2. Do you have the DIP switch in the correct position for uploading the code to ESP8266?

        @gašper-medved Based on some quick research, the DIP position are:

        When programming:
        USB UART connection with ESP8266 in programming mode (GPIO0-GND) - DIP 5 and 6 and 7 ON

        When operating:
        USB UART connection with ESP8266 - DIP 5 and 6 ON
