      Hi Klemen,

      I am using GUI-O in IoT (MQTT) mode with a self-managed Mosquitto broker, following the Custom MQTT Broker documentation.

      For the TLS connection, I imported our private CA certificate ("ca.crt") using IoT Settings → Import certificate, and the connection is working correctly.

      I have one question regarding future GUI-O application updates:

      When GUI-O is updated to a newer version, is the previously imported CA certificate preserved automatically, or does the user need to import the "ca.crt" again after each application update?

      Also, is the imported certificate stored independently from the application version, so that it remains available even when the application is updated?

      This is important for deployments where several users connect to the same private MQTT broker, because we need to know whether a normal GUI-O update could require users to configure the certificate again.

      Thank you!
      Regards

        @Sato Hi.

        The certificate is stored in the same place as other app resources (images, etc.). So the app upgrade should keep the certificate. If you uninstall the app, then you would need to repeat the certificate import.

        Best regards,
